  2. btw should have added - not meant as a personal attack, just an overall disappointment in the direction blogging has gone and the whole social media experience, my apologies if it came across as a personal attack. - patchsms   - 07/23/2008
  3. No personal attack received. Keep in mind that this was on a blog with no ads that makes more money. It's a hobby and a fun one too! - louisgray   - 07/24/2008

  1. I think it would fun if Google for oh say an hour put up one of those superstitial ads that says we have to make privacy statement thanks to arnie and post his email - complain here- the traffic would likely take down the california governemt net again and give them food for thought - hee hee - patchsms   - 05/30/2008

  1. i agree, this is a 'good sign' of popularity. as a daily user of shyftr....yes;
    >>is being used as a near realtime content discovery and sharing tool, <<
    a user expectation is somewhat fickle thing at best. your work and implementation with shyftr have been spot on so far.
    i sign on, i get my feeds, i see if others have something to share, i sometimes comment. what is important is that i can do this quickly and efficiently. not bogged down with unnecessary bloat. so far, you guys have done the job well.
    imho; what makes shyftr different, and frankly better that the others......it works. it works cleanly and i can get on with my day.

  2. I am confused, because I am not so smart. No data is being removed, but the statistics change? (Reads again and again) - louisgray   - 06/01/2008
  3. Two things: Older feed content is going to be archived (not accessible), and numbers that track new items for your feeds will be limited to a month. We haven't yet decided how far back accessible feed content will go. Whether it'll be 3 months, 6 months, etc. But I'd love to hear how far back people read their feeds so that we can make an informed decision. - Dave   - 06/01/2008
